SPPU Distance MBA: It is a two-year PG management course offered by the Savitribai Phule Pune University via its School of Open and Distance Learning (ODL). The course is offered with a duration of 2 years (4 semesters) and includes 110 credits. Interested candidates can visit the official SPPU website to apply for the MBA distance education. The SSPU Distance MBA application process started on 30 July 2025, with the last date for online registration being 25 August 2025. SPPU Distance MBA Admission 2025

SPPU Distance MBA admission process is currently open from 30 July to 25 August 2025. Students who want to apply for this program first have to appear for the Entrance Test conducted by the university itself. The admission process starts with online registration on the official website of SPPU SOL after generating the ABC and DEB ID, which is compulsory to complete the application process. Then, the candidate is required to submit his/her application form and pay the entrance exam fee. The fee is INR 600 for general and INR 400 for reserved categories. 

After the entrance exam results are announced, a merit list is published on the portal. All the shortlisted candidates can then proceed with further admission formalities, including document verification at designated study centers.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the SPPU School of Open and Distance Learning (SOL) unipune.ac.in/sol/. 

Step 2: Locate the admission notification for the year 25-26 and select the link for the MBA (ODL) Admission July 2025 application. 

Step 3: In the application procedure, register for the MBA CET test by creating an account. 

Step 4: Now log in to the portal and enter personal details, and upload scanned copies of the required documents. 

Step 5: Pay the CET exam fees using an online payment method. After completion of the payment, candidates will get a confirmation through SMS or email. 

Step 6: The candidate must appear for the online CET on the date set for it. 

Step 7: After the examination, on the basis of merit, the candidates should check if they have qualified on the official website. 

Step 8: If the candidate is qualified, they will move to the original documents verification process from any of the study centers or university offices of their choice. 

Step 9: If selected, they can choose an SOL-affiliated study center that is convenient for them for counseling and support. 

Step 10: The Next step is to pay all admission and tuition fees to secure the seat as listed in the prospectus. Now, this finishes the SPPU Distance MBA application process after verification and payment.

SPPU Distance MBA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to join the SPPU Distance MBA program must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. Whereas, the students from reserved categories require only 45% marks. They should also have either 2 years of work experience or be at least 30 years old. Final year graduation students can apply, but they need to finish their degree before the admission process.
