Panjab University Distance Education: Panjab University started the admission portal on 17 July 2025 for the academic year 2025-26 for all distance education programs. The last date for admission is 15 September 2025. Students who want to study Panjab university distance education courses can enrol in the programs directly through its website. Admission is given on a merit basis, so there is no admission entrance exam required. There is an application processing fee between INR 1,000 to INR 1,200 for all courses.

Panjab University Distance Education Admission 

USOL Admission 2025 is ongoing from 17 July 2025. Students interested in applying for the distance learning courses can access the application form at the official website—cdoe.puchd.ac.in.  

Candidates will be required to access the application form on the official website, then fill out the application form by providing details like their choice of program, and submit scanned copies of their documents. After that, candidates will have to pay an application fee of INR 1,000 (approx.)

Students must check if they meet the eligibility criteria, as they are required to have a class 12th certificate to be eligible for the UG courses and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject to be eligible for the PG courses.

Panjab University offers different UG courses like BA, BCom, B.Ed, and Bachelor of Library & Information Science. To be eligible for these courses, candidates must have passed the Class 12th exam from a recognized board with at least 33% aggregate marks and have English as one of the subjects (varying on course).

For PG courses like M.A., M.Com., and MBA, candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 45-50% aggregate marks, depending on the program. SC, ST, PWD, and BC candidates receive a 5% mark concession.

UG Courses:

• Must have passed 12th class examination from a recognized board
• Must have scored a minimum 33% aggregate marks in the class 12th examination
• Must have English as one of the subjects in class 12th (varies depending on the course)

PG Courses:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline 
• Must have a minimum of 45/50% aggregate marks, varying on different program requirements.
• SC, ST, PWD, BC candidates will be given a concession of 5% marks

Panjab University Distance Education UG Admission

Admissions for the 2025-26 session is opened from 17 July 2025. Interested students can apply for these courses on the official Panjab University distance education website. To be eligible for these courses, a candidate is required to have a relevant bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45/50% aggregate marks. A 5% concession is given to SC/ST/BC/PWD candidates for the MBA program. The course fees for the PG programs are in the range of INR 12,000 and INR 40,000.
