Berhampur University Distance Education: Berhampur University, established in 1967, is a public university located in Berhampur, Odisha. It is accredited by NAAC for providing quality higher education. The university does not offer any distance or online education. The application process for this university will start in the 2nd week of July 2025. It offers only regular over 24 postgraduate (PG) programs in different fields, including M.A. in English, Odia, Political Science, and M.Sc. in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Biotechnology etc.

To apply for the postgraduate courses, candidates must fill out the online application form available on the university’s official website. Students applying for general PG programs must qualify for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) conducted by the Odisha Higher Education Department. The Berhampur University Distance Education Application Form 2025–26 for postgraduate courses, also known as the Common Application Form (CAF) managed by the Student Academic Management System (SAMS). The application process is completely online and can be completed by visiting the official SAMS portal at www.samsodisha.gov.in. The application process is already started in March 2025, and the last date to submit the form is likely to be July 2025*. 

While filling out the CAF, candidates must provide their details like full name, date of birth, contact number, email ID, and complete address, etc. Students also need to enter their academic details, such as CPET 2025 marks secured, obtained CGPA in UG, and subjects studied. Applicants must upload scanned copies of documents like passport-size photograph, signature, 10th and 12th certificates, graduation marksheets, and valid ID proof.

 The application fee for the CAF is INR 500, and it can be paid online through net banking, debit card, or credit card. It is very important to check all the information properly before final submission, as incorrect or incomplete forms may lead to rejection.
