BAOU MBA Admission 2025: Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University is currently accepting applications for its MBA program for 2025. Candidates can apply starting from 16 April 2025 at 10:58 AM. The deadline to submit the application form for BAOU admission 2025 is 14 September 2025 till 11:55 PM. This MBA program is offered through distance education which means students are not required to attend regular classes. The BAOU MBA program has a minimum duration of two years. But students are allowed a maximum of four years to complete it.

Candidates must have completed their graduation from a reputed university with at least 45-50 percent marks to be eligible for BAOU MBA admission. Following are the steps for BAOU MBA Admission:

Step 1: Check Eligibility: The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized University.

Step 2: Register on GCAS Portal: Eligible candidates should navigate to https://gcasstudent.gujgov.edu.in/ and create a new user account by entering their name, mobile number, email ID, and date of birth. Post-account creation, the candidate will be provided with a user ID and password for use in login.

Step 3: DEB ID Creation: Candidates should create a DEB ID if they do not have one. This ID is required for distance education admission and can be created on the official DEB portal.

Step 4: Applying on BAOU Admission Portal: Candidates have to visit http://admission.baou.edu.in/, log in using GCAS credentials, fill out the MBA application by entering personal details, and select the study center of their choice for it.

Step 5: Submitting Documents: Candidates must upload copies of their voting marks sheets, degree certificates, passport-sized photographs, and identity proofs. Also, the files must be in the required size and format.

Step 6: Registration Fee Payment: Then candidates pay a registration fee of INR 300 online through credit/debit card or net banking; a receipt should be saved for future referral.

Step 7: Submitting the Application: The candidate has to ensure the details in the form are correct, then submit the application form online after which they download the application PDF and keep it for future reference.

Step 8: Wait for Selection and Confirm Admission: The candidates will be shortlisted by the BAOU on the basis of graduation marks. Selected candidates will be intimated through the mail or the admission portal. Candidates will have to pay the course fee of Rs. 30,000 for MBA to confirm their admission.

Step 9: Start the MBA Program: After admission confirmation, candidates will receive study materials, semester schedules, and examination details. They can then begin their MBA program through distance learning as per the academic calendar.
