YCMOU MBA Admission 2025: Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University offers a two-year MBA program through distance learning mode. The YCMOU MBA course has four semesters and includes 20 subjects plus a project. There are specializations in Finance, Marketing, and Human Resource Management, starting from the third semester. YCMOU MBA Admission 2025

The YCMOU MBA admission is fully online and is currently open to all candidates who meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. Applicants can visit the official website to complete their registrations before 31 August 2025. During registration, they must upload documents and pay an application fee of INR 200.

YCMOU MBA Admission Process 2025

Step 1: First, candidates have to check if they have a bachelor’s degree of at least three years duration from a recognized university, with a minimum of 45-50% marks.

Step 2: To get through on MBA admission at YCMOU requires the candidate to sit for the YCMOU CET entrance exam. 

Step 3: Next step is to land on the official YCMOU admission portal and create a user ID for registration.

Step 4: Candidates must fill out the online form with personal, academic, and contact information after creating an account on the portal. Candidates are also required to upload documents like a passport-sized photograph, marksheets of Class 10 and 12, graduation certificate, birth certificate or any proof of date of birth, and the experience certificate (if applicable).

Step 5: Then, candidates pay the application fee of INR 200 and the entrance exam fee of INR 600 through the online payment gateway and submit the application form.

Step 6: Later on, candidates have to download the admit card from the official website and appear for the online CET exam. After the exam, the university publishes the merit list based on entrance test scores. All the candidates who pass the exam will be called next for the document verification at the university or designated center.

Step 7: Once the verification is done, they must pay the fee and complete formal admission acceptance.

  • Qualification in the YCMOU Common Entrance Test (CET) for MBA admission or other accepted entrance exams like MAHCET, CAT, or MAT is mandatory.
  • There is no age restriction for admission.
  • Admission is based on merit according to the entrance exam performance.

YCMOU MBA Specializations 

The YCMOU MBA program for 2025-26 offers three specializations: HRM, Marketing, and Finance. These help students learn important skills and knowledge in the area they choose. Candidates may take the exam anytime within this window period. The exam is 60 minutes long, with 60 questions, of which at least 50 must be answered.
